OSTEOPATHY IN AREZZO

Osteopath treating a patient lying on a treatment bed

Through specific manual techniques, the osteopath works to overcome dysfunction and restore the body’s functional harmony.
Structural osteopathy: specific release manoeuvres for joints and muscles; joint manipulations that correct the spatial position of the joints along their axes of movement.
Visceral osteopathy: visceral manipulations aim to restore the mobility and motility of an organ.
Craniosacral osteopathy: cranial techniques act on the congruent movement between the bones of the skull.
Osteopathy is indicated for: cranial problems (torsions, direct trauma, headache, balance disorders, ear infections, rhinopharyngitis, sinusitis) / Stomatognathic problems / Problems related to childbirth / Circulatory problems / Visceral problems / Neurological problems / Orthopaedic and muscular disorders.

D-WALL – With D-WALL it is possible to perform hundreds of exercises and specific programmes for posture, functional training, balance and strength.
With D-WALL, athletes and patients, whose image is scanned and turned into a virtual figure, get stimulating real-time feedback on both their posture and the symmetry of their movements.
This high-tech digital mirror not only lets you perform every movement with maximum control, it also makes it possible to analyse performance in real time according to precise parameters. Assessment and training can be managed together: using a 3D camera and a force platform, D-WALL recognises up to 16 body joints and every movement made in the operating area in real time.
Every action in front of D-WALL gives immediate biofeedback.

VERTIMAX – Vertimax is a specific tool for return-to-sport training and is suitable for all sports. Designed to increase performance and capacity, it helps improve speed, vertical jump and sprinting.
It increases physical endurance and muscle strength in a controlled and safe way.
Because elastic bands can be applied to the legs and arms at the same time, Vertimax can work the whole body completely.

NEUROMUSCULAR ACCELERATOR –
When? It speeds up functional recovery after surgery or after muscle and joint injuries / improves athletic performance in less time than other tools / prevents muscle and joint problems and pain / reduces recurrences / helps recovery from post-competition muscle fatigue.
It is used together with physical exercise to carry out preventive treatments and achieve faster physiotherapy recovery.
It treats both the symptom and the cause of the problem at the same time, reducing pain and increasing the ability to express strength by up to 3 times. It not only helps resolve the musculoskeletal problem, but also improves the function, strength and coordination reduced by the injury.
It can halve rehabilitation times and, as a result, time away from sport.
The neuromuscular accelerator is an active therapy, during which the patient performs functional movements aimed at neuromuscular re-education.

BFR MAD UP PRO BLOOD FLOW RESTRICTION –
Light exercises performed while restricting blood flow allow muscle growth while effectively reducing joint stress.
Prevention and management of muscle deficits.
Greatly improves functional rehabilitation and sports training.
Increases muscle strength and hypertrophy without any risk of inflammation or tissue tears and without mechanically overloading the spine and joints.
Reduces pain.

THE GYM

Centro Vertex has a large, bright gym area where therapeutic, preventive, strengthening and maintenance activities are carried out in a synergistic, supervised way:

Kinesiotherapy (movement therapy): individual functional work to restore your functional and structural balance through specific movements

Post-traumatic rehabilitation: exercises and assisted mobilisation, using specific machines that control effort and movement for fast, effective recovery.

Return-to-sport training: an individual programme with state-of-the-art machines and equipment (cryosauna, D-Wall, neuromuscular accelerator, Vertimax, Desmotek, Tecar…), supported and completed by exercises specific to each sport

Proprioceptive training: specific exercises that stimulate the whole neuromotor system to restore proprioceptive sensitivity.

D-Wall, the digital mirror: with D-WALL you can perform hundreds of exercises and specific programmes for posture, functional training and balance.

Postural re-education and exercise: individual programmes to rebalance the muscular system after trauma, injury or disease.
